Pandora's box?

Siren Song

In ancient mythology, Sirens were the beautiful Oceanids or sea nymphs which lived on Sirenum Scopuli. The sirens would sit and watch for sailors whom they would lure into their fatal arms using the infamous siren song.

The Pictures of 2006

All of the BBC's Pictures of 2006 were good but two in particular drew me in. The picture of the three girls drew me in as soon as I opened the page. The center girl is so in focus and you can see the sadness simply dripping from her.
